The impetus for development was a suggestion from a sales representative.

"I'd like to visit you with a magnet printed with the zodiac sign as a New Year's greeting!"
Based on this feedback from our salespeople, we immediately decided to make a prototype. Initially, the design was intended to be used for New Year's greetings, with a strong New Year theme, but we received some doubts, such as "Will customers continue to use magnets with New Year's greetings on them?", so we decided to make them into "Zodiac Mug" as a lucky charm to be used for the coming year.

The thoughts behind the "Zodiac Mug"

A company's history is built upon the accumulation of each year.
The zodiac mug is a small commemorative badge that captures the journey of that time.

Magna Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce that we will be celebrating our 40th anniversary in 2025.
Sixty years from now, when the Chinese zodiac cycle completes a full rotation, Magna will celebrate its 100th anniversary.

With the hopes for the 100th anniversary in mind, one "Zodiac Mug" will be produced each year.

This is not just a souvenir.
Each year, at a significant milestone, we create a small symbol representing the zodiac animal of that year, symbolizing the connections between people and the progress of our company.

Magna itself is aiming for its 100th anniversary.
And for our customers, this is an initiative to connect their respective histories and aspirations to the future.

Each year, a mug featuring the Chinese zodiac sign is created, documenting the company's journey and giving form to the sentiments that are passed down through generations.
I hope that this kind of culture will spread and become a testament to the long history and connections of companies.

To use a plant growth analogy, "未" (mi) represents a crucial preparation period, like waiting for the fruit to ripen.
This year is seen as a time to not neglect the efforts we have made so far, but to pour even more passion into achieving our goals.

"Steady progress" and "the fruits that come from accumulation"—with these meanings in mind, we have entrusted the 2027 Zodiac Mug with the wish for "continuity and growth."
