Samarium-cobalt magnet (Samarium-Cobalt Sm-Co) is one of the rare earth magnets with strong magnetic force and is resistant to heat.While neodymium magnets must be used at temperatures below 80 ° C, samarium-cobalt magnets are difficult to demagnetize even at high temperatures of 350 ° C and are resistant to rust, making them ideal for medical equipment and sensor parts.
Although there are some difficulties in mechanical strength, the product can be made smaller and lighter like neodymium.
