About calibrating the tesla meter
In order to use the Tesla meter for a long time and accurately, we propose regular maintenance and calibration.
We recommend inspection and calibration once every six months to one year.If you have forgotten your purchase date, please contact us.
Use a reference magnetic field magnet for daily checks.Accurate daily measurements will ensure the performance of your product.

1. Battery replacement
If the battery runs out during use, the battery mark will light up on the display.At this time, replace all four batteries with new batteries (rechargeable batteries are already charged).
2. Replacing the probe
If the probe is worn or damaged and "Err.1" is displayed on the display, replace it with an optional measurement probe (model MG-901PRB, MG-901AXL, MG-801PRB, MG-801AXL, etc.).
In this case, it can be replaced without calibration.
3. Inspection / calibration / traceability
We recommend having your Tesla meter inspected and calibrated every six months to a year.

* MG-501,601 can be calibrated only when the main body is normal.
* Since there is no national standard for AC magnetic flux density, traceability of AC magnetic flux density cannot be supported.
* MG-401 can be calibrated only when the main unit and probe are normal.
4.Tesla meter body and probe maintenance
If it is very dirty, wipe it off with a cloth moistened with water or a slightly diluted neutral detergent, and then wipe it dry.Do not use benzine, thinner or chemical rag as it may damage the surface.
5. Storage method
Store in a cool and dark place out of direct sunlight.
Keep the storage temperature within the range of -10 to 60 ° C.
Also, be sure to insert the probe into the connector and store it.
If you do not use the product for a long time, be sure to remove the battery and store it.
【Note】
-If the probe is stored without being inserted into the connector, the contact area may oxidize or dust may accumulate, resulting in poor contact.
-If the battery is stored in a place exposed to direct sunlight, the case may be deformed, or if the battery is not used for a long period of time without being removed, liquid leakage may occur and cause a malfunction.

1. Replacing the probe
If the probe is worn or damaged and the display shows "E-002", replace it with a measurement probe (sold separately).In this case, it can be replaced without calibration.
2. Inspection / calibration / traceability
Calibrate your Tesla meter once a year. In order to maintain and confirm the measurement accuracy of the TM4702 and TM4300 for a long period of time, we will calibrate them based on the national standard traced to the Japan Electric Meters Inspection Corporation (JEMIC) and return them with a traceability certificate.

3. Usage environment
When using, keep the room temperature at 0-40 ° C and avoid direct sunlight.
Also, be sure to insert the probe into the cover and store it.
