Install and uninstall
There are two types, "with installer" and "without installer".
If Visual Basic 6 is already installed, or if you cannot install it with the installer, please download the version without the installer.

With MG701 dedicated software installer

Installation

  1. Download "M601JA.EXE" to an appropriate folder and double-click it with the left mouse button.The following files are unzipped:
    • setup.exe
    • setup.lst
    • m601proj.cab
    • readme.txt
  2. Double-click "setup.exe" with the left mouse button and follow the instructions to install.

Uninstall

Select "M601PROJ" from "Add/Remove Programs".

MG701 dedicated software without installer

If Visual Basic6 is already installed, or if you cannot install it by the above method, please download another "M601JM.EXE" and install it manually.

  1. Download "M601JM.EXE" to an appropriate folder and double-click it with the left mouse button.The following files are unzipped:
    • m601proj.exe
    • readme.txt
    • [m601sys]
  2. Copy the files in the [m601sys] folder to the following location. (Not required if Visual Basic6 is already installed)
    Windows98/Me C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM WindowsXp C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32
