Alnico Magnet
Alnico Magnet
Alnico magnet is a casting magnet, being composed of aluminum, nickel and cobalt. Although it tends to be easily demagnetized, it is highly heat-resistant (its Curie point is 850°C) and is not easily broken, thus mechanically strong. It has been traditionally popular for various meters and telecommunication tools, and recently it is used for watt-hour meters as well as anticrime devices.
